I ran across this today:

I didn't know there were so many different types of basil-- here is the list I found. I have heard of a few of them.

How many do you know of?

I use it mostly in spaghetti sauce, salad dressings, seasoned homemade bread,

Most of the Basil I get is Sweet Basil. I even grew some last year. I don't know if I will plant any next year not. I personally
like it dried. I had a bumper crop and dried some froze some and still have some.
