Drying Bread

I will be drying bread today.

With DH being the only one to eat bread there is always some that get a little stale before he can eat it all. So I Dry it for bread crumbs. If it is homemade bread to dry I make croutons.

I use the bread crumbs to mix with or the last coat for fried foods and the croutons are salads or other type of dishes that need bread added.

I cut or break up the bread in to small pieces, dehydrate at 135* for 4 to 5 hours.
