Hexie Ornaments
« on: October 17, 2015, 09:29:13 AM »
:2-wave1:  Want an easy ornament to make from a circle of fabric or paper?  A 6" circle will make a 3" ornament.  Just scale up or down to make the size of your choice.

Mark a dot at the edge of the circle.  Then use the radius to measure and mark points around the circle.  Fold a point over to the center and crease.  Repeat around until all points meet at the circle.  Stitch or glue to close at the center.  Stitch or glue a button, bead, or doodad to center front and back.  Pull a cord or ribbon through one point for making a loop for hanging.

You may want to do alternate points and observe lap design.

I'm going to cut some fabric circles for a take a long project.

I may figure out where the loop needs to be and pull crochet cord through and tie a knot on the inside before folding.  I like a just a small loop  use with a wire hanger.
