Eating out of storage ===Challenge
« on: January 03, 2017, 09:47:29 PM »
We have decided to eat out of your storage and see how long we can go or at least a month which comes first.

I would love to have you join us in this challenge!!  Not going to the grocery store at all for this time;

I know the first part will be easy as we are stocked. but as time goes on we will see.

Do hope you take the challenge

Eating out of storage starts with what's in the fridge first that would likely go bad.

January 4th

Breakfast
DH Egg, cheese, and ham on English muffin.
Myself my protein mix

Lunch
Dh Ham Sandwich packed in lunch with protein bar.
myself turkey salad and protein mix.

Dinner
Knorr Mexican rice with home dried chicken + apple pie slice from freezer
Myself turkey soup

The Knorr Mexican rice is a dried mix only costing $1.00 each I got quiet a few of different flavors.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The turkey was from freezer leftover from Christmas as was the pie
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Veggie was from dehydrated veggies

As we are still eating out of our storage instead of continuing to list everything we eat each day I thought I would just list some of the way we do use some of the foods.

We still have thing in the freezer,  also canned and dehydrated as well to pull from.

Here are some of the list of meal we will be eating to name a few---
we may use from each of the different ways the are preserved or maybe all the meal
is from one group

Vegetable soup with or without meat

Green bean casserole

Shepherds pie

Chili

Italian chicken

Mexican chicken

Chicken wraps

Spaghetti

Spaghetti rice

Breakfasts--  with or with out eggs or home made bread.

Wheat flakes

Oat meal

Rice

Sweets like  Dried apple pie

This is just the top of the iceberg so to speak. but it is a example of using the food out of the storage.

Any questions are welcome.  :)
